Kappa sings us a great Deana Carter cover of Strawberry Wine. I love this song because it captures a moment in time, much like a camera. The vivid descriptions and coming of age story is just so damn good.
This song was a hit single back in 1996 written by Nashville songwriter Matraca Berg.
I recorded this a while back (months ago) and since I haven’t uploaded anything in a while I thought I’d dig this out and share it with ya’ll… I’m here in Nashville working on my CD now… we just finished the last day of mixing and I’m really happy with it. I can’t wait for it to be finished!!!
Thank you for all the support you have given my music… it means a great deal to me.
This is a delightful version of Eva Cassidy’s gem Songbird by one of Acoustic Unleashed’s favorite singer-songwriters. Kappa has recently surpassed the half million video views on YouTube and I think you can understand why. Enjoy!
This is a sweet little acoustic cover of a Randy Travis tune. Kappa Danielson is singer-songwriter out of Maryland who is very grateful of her fans who has supported her over the years. She also has a twin sister who’s a songwriter as well.
Kappa is on her way to Nashville in the near future to record her first album. She’s picking out songs now and she’s very excited about it. We hear at Acoustic Unleashed wish the best, and will feature more of her music in the months to come.
Kappa’s influences include Alison Krauss, Dolly Parton, Suzanne Cox and Ella Fitzgerald.
This Bluegrass gal’s YouTube channel has been viewed nearly half of a million times. She plays both cover and original with over 80 videos to choose from. Kappa is very thankful for all of her fans, and loves to receive e-mails about her music.
You can hear some Dolly Parton in this song, one of her influences along with Alison Krauss, and Suzanne Cox. Any true singer / songwriter will love her songs and voice; tell me what you think.
Jason Meredith is the host of Acoustic Unleashed. The Web's only all acoustic music blog dedicated to singer songwriters, acoustic music, and striped-down versions of your favorite songs.
